In the big AZ!

We've been in Arizona for a few days now and we are having a blast!! I'm so excited for our 3 days of Christmas!!!! Hopefully we can make it to Los Abrigados to see the light displays. The weather was nice at first but today it is really overcast and rainy :( I really hope it clears up before we go home.

This Thursday I will be 28 weeks pregnant!!!! Which means I only have 11 weeks to go! I can't wait! The sleepless nights and constantly being uncomfortable is getting old. We have officially decided on her name: Jace Kennedy White. I am so excited to meet her! Korbin isn't quite sure what to think yet. I'm sure when he can see that she is actually a real baby he'll be excited. But for now he wants nothing to do with mommy's belly :)

I won't be able to post pictures for a while, but I will try to get them up after Christmas. Until then, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!!

It's Santa!!!!

Hurry… Before December Comes!!!

We had a GREAT Thanksgiving!!! Tons of food (3 turkeys and a ham!), awesome friends, and of course, spending time with my incredible family! My camera battery died half way through the day but I did manage to get a few good pictures. We were so lucky that Jacob was able to make it home from training in time. This was our first Thanksgiving together since Korbin was born! And will be our last until 2011!


We also decorated for Christmas! Just to help get into the spirit of things (since we’ll be in Arizona the week before and after Christmas). I made my first Advent Calendar (I'm kinda cheating since Korbin is only 2 1/2 so he'll just peel the days off instead of having something to do each day), Jacob put up and decorated the tree, and Korbin colored snowmen, gingerbread men & Christmas trees. We also colored on & cut coffee filters to make snowflakes that we hung to the ceiling but I don’t have a picture of that. Its so fun now that Korbin sort of understands what is going on!

Or in my case, babe. I realized last night that Korbin has a few words or phrases that he seemed to pick up from who knows where.

~"Always": While throwing a fit about putting his jammies on he said, "But I ALWAYS wear my pajamas" or when I was putting his diaper on, "I ALWAYS poop on the potty!" (Which, unfortunately, isn't true lately.)

~"Friend": He says, "Here's my friend shirt/Uncle Tyler/Daddy/etc. Talk to him." I think he got this from the Disney channel. The monkey puppets Ooh and Aah say, "Our friends...."

~"So": As in, "I am SO sorry, mommy" for the silliest things! "So" came from me :( I smashed his fingers in the car door last week and I kept saying, "I'm SO sorry baby!"

~And everyone close to him knows this one... "What you're doing?" every 5 minutes! This one came about when Tyler & I were moving stuff from Az to Co. 16+ hours in a truck with a 2 year old and a dead DVD player!

GIRL!!!!!

Today I found out that Jacob and I are having a girl! Unfortunately the ultrasound tech wasn't very nice and didn't give me any good pictures. Oh well. Like my mom said, the real thing is better.

Jacob has been in California since October 29th and unreachable since November 5th, so he doesn't know yet! Hopefully I'll get to talk to him this week and he'll be home some time next week. But nothing is ever what they say with the Army. A tough fact to get used to. Korbin is missing his daddy like crazy! He asks almost every day where daddy is. :( I don't know how he's going to handle deployment. How do you explain that to a toddler?

These 2 are Korbin's most favorite people in the whole world. Mine, too. When we look at pictures of them he says "Its my Kaycee and Tyler"

Snow & Pumpkins

On the 25th it snowed all day long! Korbin wanted to go play in it so we compromised and all went to check the mail.

Yes, Jacob is out in the snow wearing shorts and a t-shirt! He's just a little crazy!

After we warmed up, we carved pumpkins. Korbin picked out a baby pumpkin and colored it.

Crayons didn't work so well. We ended up giving him dry erase markers. They actually stayed on!

He didn't want anything to do with the pumpkin guts :) Even after Jacob cleaned it out he wouldn't touch it.
