No post on Sunday :)

Yesterday we went to a wedding & didn’t get home until 9pm. We had a great time dancing, watching Korbin mingle among the adults & seeing friends we haven’t seen in a while. Of course, Korbin was a big hit with all the ladies!

Here is what I should have posted yesterday:

I’m not currently reading anything. I returned The Guardian early for a few reasons. One is that I was unable to renew it online because someone put a hold on it. The other reason is I wasn’t as intrigued by this book as the others by Nicholas Sparks. I haven’t made it to the library yet, but hope to this week.

**Bonus points if you know what movie my post title comes from :)

Dear John

Yesterday I finished reading Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. It wasn't quite what I expected, but still a very good book. I can't wait to see the movie. I'm sure the movie will get some tears out of me! : ) Once again, Nicholas Sparks wrote an unexpected ending, but I wouldn't have changed a thing about it. I definitely recommend this book to anyone.

After finishing Dear John, I started The Guardian (another Nicholas Sparks book). I'm only 2 chapters in, so I'm still not too sure about this one.

Apparently I'm on a Nicholas Sparks kick : ) Next I want to read A Walk to Remember (one of my favorite movies, I didn't even know it was a book!)

I've Been Reading...

A few days ago I finished reading The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks. I really liked this book. It was interesting enough to keep my attention but not overly romantic (I am not into mushy romance books). The ending had a little twist to the end, which I love about Nicholas Sparks; his writing isn't too obvious. I also enjoyed the military aspect of the book.

Last night I started reading Dear John, also by Nicholas Sparks. I have been warned that I will cry, and probably a lot. So with fair warning I dove in. I'm only a couple of chapters in but I already know I'm going to love this book. I had never heard of this book until I saw the preview for the movie. And I have to finish this book before I go see the movie!
